3. Does the data an AI feature would need exist in a system, accurately and in a form a team could use?

4. Are you allowed to use that data for this purpose, and would a DPIA pass?

Data collected for one purpose cannot always be used for another.

5. Is there a named owner who would run an AI service after launch, including quality review?

Prompts drift, models change and quality must be reviewed.

6. Do your product, design and research teams know how to prompt, evaluate and prototype with current models?

Not data science; practical, hands-on skills.

7. Could you explain to a user, a board or a regulator what the AI does, when it is wrong and how a person takes over?

Transparency, failure paths and escalation.

8. Can you describe the smallest proof of concept that would settle whether your idea is worth building?

Usually a prototype in front of ten users, not a platform.
